Lake Tahoe Life Extension Festival Presentations |
|||
| Immediately below, there are
links to a talk by Jerry Leaf on his Cryovita work. Jerry made
this presentation at the 1986 Lake Tahoe Life Extension Festival, and
brought along his MALSS (Mobile Advanced Life Support System) as an
exhibit. It's shown extensively in the video. Below the Jerry Leaf talk, you'll find a panel discussion on "Whole Body vs. Neuro". Jerry was one of the panelists. The discussion continued for an hour and forty minutes, and included extensive participation from the audience. It ended only when the Chairman (Thomas Donaldson) said he feared that if a halt weren't called, it might go on until midnight. The files are .wmv format (windows media video). There's an option to either play them or "save" them to your hard drive. The first files below are small, but so are the pictures. Download the large files at the bottom of the page (about twice as large) and you'll have as much quality as the originals (VHS). The first link below (at the right) is Jerry's entire talk. Below that, on the left, are links at the level of subtopics. The panel discussion is provided only as a full-length download, but still there is an option. The full length panel is only 513 mb if the small-picture format is chosen. Further down, if the higher quality video is downloaded, the length is 1,254 mb. |

| Some of the persons in the
above video
are now in cryonic suspension, yet they seem as "alive" in the video as
they may someday be once again, when we can welcome them back. For
us, it is as if we have a time machine and can hop back to the past and
see what they were thinking, 23 years ago. We hope you will enjoy this 'journey into the past'. Be glad that we still live in a world that permits us to preserve, as a minimum, the neuro-structures of our brains, the foundations of our minds, with the hope that a day may come when the dreams of all the people you see here may have become a reality. Boundless Life, |

Notes on copyright status and plans to make high quality copies available:
These recordings were made for the Lake Tahoe Life Extension Festival, an incorporated, tax-exempt group, no longer in existence as such. Other persons and organizations also made videos at the Festival's events, without restriction. The Lake Tahoe Life Extension Festival never filed copyright registrations on these recordings.
Accordingly, it seems appropriate to treat this material as public domain and make available good-quality DVD's through amazon.com's 'Create Space' program. If any profits should result from sales on amazon.com, these will be donated to a non-profit, tax exempt, cryonics organization. Details will be posted below, when copies of the videos are are available through the Create Space program. Check back, if interested.
Comments are invited (email link). We'd like to hear from you, especially if you're someone who attended one of the Festivals. With time, there are a lot of other presentations and pictures which could be added to this page. You may remember the river raft ride, sailboat trip, horse ride up the edge of the Sierras, tram ride up the Heavenly Valley ski area, etc. These might help you recall your own experiences at one of these events. |

| As an alternative to anything later available via Create Space, here are high quality files to download in .wmv. The resolutions are probably as good as or better than the original VHS. The very availability of these files should support the idea that this information is available as public domain media. With appropriate software such as Corel's VideoStudio, you may be able to generate and burn your own DVD's. | |||
