Hi, I'm Fred Chamberlain, and I want to welcome you to the LifePact Interview process.  If it were possible (and it may be, soon), you'd see me (above) speaking and moving, fully self-conscious, and I'd walk you through the interview in a complete way, but until we can make a reality of that, here's how  it works:

If you have a tape recorder ready to go, get ready to turn it on.  Then login above, using your first name or whatever you like, and you'll see me invite you to enter "q 1" (without the quote marks, but definitely with a space between the "q" and the "1").  When you're ready, start the tape recorder, "send" the "q 1", and read out loud what's I've "said".  That way, you have the question or comment from the screen on your tape, as well as your answer or comment.  Most importantly, you can pause your recorder at any time, if you're reading a question or thinking about what to say.  The following questions are "q 2", "q 3" and so forth.  If you need to skip numbers, the questions themselves will guide you.

If you haven't done so yet, you might wish to listen to at least a few minutes of an actual LifePact interview, as they were originally done back at the beginning of 1990.  There's a link at the bottom to an interview I did back then, one of the first, and you'll have a better idea of how it might go for you, if you at least sample that.  Just relax, take your time, hit the pause  button any time you wish, and remember that you're conversationally helping others to help you, at the time you're reanimated, uploaded, or whatever you may envision happening in order for you to continue your life in the future.

Here's that sample interview, from the past:

LIFEPACT INTERVIEW - DECEMBER 31, 1989

When you're finished recording, upload the file into your CyBeRev account, send it to your cryonics organization, or store it in whatever secure way you feel suits you best.  And, you'll have taken a large step toward either joining those of us who are in pursuit of personal cyberconsciousness as part of Terasem, or backing up memories against the possible loss of them due to limitations of your cryonics procedures.

Questions?  Comments?  We'd love to hear from you!
